说干就干，我拿了一条活蹦乱跳的鱼，用刀刮鱼鳞，“哎哟，怎么这么硬啊？”我平常看妈妈刮鱼鳞，动作轻快，干净，利落，而我刮了好几下，却一片也没刮下来。妈妈见我狼狈的样子，便说：“这些鱼是从池塘里捞出来已经很久了，表面水分蒸发了。鱼鳞很硬，你要先放在水里浸一浸。。”
我浸了浸水，再用刀一刮，果然轻快多了。鱼鳞刮完后，第二部是刮肚子。我用刀把鱼肚子割开，把五脏全掏了出来，里面还有一个“小气球”。据说，鱼就是靠这个“小气球”来沉浮的。
我把它们挖出来，放在碗里，肠子就扔给鸡吃了。挖鱼鳃，是杀鱼中最难的一步。鳃中的牙状硬骨，不小心就会把手指弄破。我用力一挖，“啪”的一声，鱼鳃挖了出来，可是我的手指还是被刺破了。我想：这是我杀鱼付出的代价。
最后，我把鱼洗净，晾干，鱼杀好了！过了一会儿厨房里传来了，“滋一喳”的炸鱼声。
听到炸鱼声，我不禁乐起来，因为这响声是祝贺我第一次杀鱼成功，祝贺我为妈妈做了一件事。
